PRESENTATION PREPARED BY VMWARE
Date: Wednesday, September 28
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Place: Maison du développement durable, 50 Sainte-Cathérine St. W., Montreal
Session Objectives
Demonstrate to executives responsible for IT projects and investments in healthcare how VMware is helping to simplify operations management in the current context of the regional consolidation of institutions. Recognize in the proposed creation of shared service centres an opportunity for centralization, virtualization (beyond server environments), technological standardization, and even automation of IT processes and service delivery practices.
In terms of virtualization of workstations and mobility, many institutions have yet to realize the full benefits of their projects and are having difficulty in adjusting to the needs and new expectations of their users. This presentation event, specifically for the healthcare sector, will give us the opportunity to share with you the most recent examples of completed projects (with client testimonials) as well as the latest innovations presented at the big VMworld 2016 conference.
Invited presenters:
- VMware and its local team of healthcare sector solutions specialists
- PCD Solutions as the Quebec-based centre of expertise and the consulting and integration firm for the solutions presented
- Representatives from the Hôpital Sacré-Cœur IT department who will share with you their project experiences, the benefits achieved, as well as the key aspects of their financial justification approach
