VMware vSphere 8 Upgrade Delivers New Improvements and Features.

vSphere 8, VMware’s enterprise workload platform, was just released this October and overall, we are stoked with the improvements and new features introduced. It’s the first major upgrade in two years, and VMware has responded to customers’ needs and changes in technology trends to deliver more performance and security. They also released some features that they have been teasing for quite a while, such as Project Monterey.

PCD’s recent participation in the AWS Initiate – Public Sector conference

On October 20, PCD Solutions / Converge took part to the AWS Initiate – Public Sector conference around Cloud transition projects. This online event gave us the opportunity to share our experience and lessons learned through many implementation projects. In the current context, the Government of Quebec has ordered public organizations to plan tthe migration of their services and data to the Public Cloud by 2025. A very ambitious timeline considering the numerous stages of preparation involved. However, the VMware Cloud on AWS solution brings some interresting options to the table.
